By using Cracked Bunker ("the site," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms apply to the operator of this site, an individual, not a registered company.
Cracked Bunker provides free, browser-based tools for identifying, diagnosing, and attempting to repair damaged or unknown computer files, plus a set of practice challenges ("Crack the Bunker") built on those same tools. Every tool runs entirely client-side in your browser — see the Privacy Policy for detail on what that means for your data.
The tools on this site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any warranty that a diagnosis is complete or correct, or that a "repaired" file will be usable, complete, or safe to rely on.
These tools are not a substitute for a real backup. Structural repair — patching a header, rebuilding a parseable JSON document, re-flagging a chunk — can only restore what the evidence in the file actually supports; it cannot recover data that's genuinely gone, and it can't guarantee the result matches what the file originally contained. Always keep the original damaged file until you've verified a repaired copy actually works for your purposes, and never treat a successful-looking repair as your only copy of anything important.
We aim to hold every tool to the standard described in our About page — a real structural check behind every claim, never a guess dressed up as one — but we still can't promise any specific outcome for your specific file.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site or its tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
Don't use this site for anything illegal, don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the site or its infrastructure, and don't attempt to circumvent any rate limiting or access controls. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to inspect or repair any file you process here — the tools don't ask, and running a file through a diagnostic tool implies nothing about who owns it.
The Cracked Bunker name, logo, and site design belong to the site's operator. The tools are provided for your personal or internal use; you're welcome to link to the site, but the site's code and content aren't licensed for reproduction elsewhere without permission.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense and may in the future use third-party analytics — see the Privacy Policy for detail. We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service or site linked from or embedded in Cracked Bunker.
We may update these terms or the tools themselves at any time. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
